This site keeps marketing copy lightweight, but the wildlife and seasonality notes were tightened against the references below so future edits have a fact trail.

Many of the strongest primary sources for Los Cóbanos are in Spanish. The English science-facing pages on this site should be treated as a translation layer from those Spanish originals, not as independent source material.

- Treat wrecks as heritage/diving notes, not a guarantee for casual snorkel visitors.
- Treat the iguana-size note as a cautious inference from protected habitat plus lower hunting pressure; do not present it as a measured Los Cóbanos population study.
- Keep the new natural-history pages specific: volcanic shoreline, `Porites lobata`, bleaching/restoration, macroalgae, intertidal invertebrates, mangroves, birds, and protected habitat are stronger than generic paradise language.
